What are NCIDQ continuing education monographs?

A monograph is a short book on a single subject. NCIDQ monographs cover contemporary interior design topics. Designers who need continuing education credits to renew their license or professional memberships can take an open-book quiz on each monograph to earn continuing education credit.

Are NCIDQ monographs approved as official continuing education courses?

Yes. All NCIDQ monograph courses have been approved for CE credit by ASID. All course hours count as structured course time, not home-study or self-study. All course hours are in HSW (health, safety and welfare) categories.

Courses approved by ASID are reciprocally accepted by all IDCEC member organizations: ASID, IIDA, IDC and IDEC. They are also approved in most states and provinces for license/registration renewal. Check with your regulatory agency directly to confirm that they accept IDCEC-approved courses.

Can I earn AIA learning units (LUs) with NCIDQ monographs?

No. NCIDQ monographs have not been submitted to AIA for approval. You may be able to self-report these courses toward your continuing education requirements, but check AIA's rules before doing so.

I am an Active NCIDQ Certificate holder. Do I get a discount on NCIDQ monographs?

Yes. You get 10% off all CE monograph products (books and quizzes). Include your Certificate number on the order form.

Is there a bulk discount for monographs?
